STOP THE PRESS!!! STOP THE PRESS!!! OUR BONNY DID IT AGAIN!!!!!

Bonny has done yet another successful Search and Rescue.

We were called out late the other night but could not start until just before dawn the next morning. Two youths had gone for a days hike the morning before and did not return. By the time the parents came here pleading for help, it was too late for anyone to do anything in such dangerous terrain. Neither lad has taken any water, food, or any sort of equipment and certainly had nothing for an overnight camp and the wind was blowing straight of the snow from the nearby mountains.

Bonny followed the two lost youths over 6 areal kilometres of rugged bush and mountain terrain. When found the youths were heading further up and into a steeper and much more dangerous mountain range, with virtually inaccessible drops of over 800 meters. This also made the tracking all the more dangerous for both Sandra and Bonny, because Bonny is a fast tracker and follows a hot track at a run.

Congratulations once again Bonny - on a job well.

Please note: Sandra has now retired from doing long distance SAR tracking. She will continue with dog training and everything else.

BULL TERRIER PEOPLE OF AUSTRALIA - REJOICE:

Page is the very first registered purebred English Bull Terrier in Australia to complete and pass with flying colours, all of her SATMA training with all the strict accreditation tests and became a Therapy and Service dog.
She was a pleasure to train as she is so naturally sweet and gentle and always wanting to please.
She loves it when the kids in the hospital hold onto her harness and she pulls them around in their wheelchairs.
They all enjoy having her take them in the elevator and down to the shop to load her backpack up with chips and drinks and lollies.
This usually causes arguments over who get's to take her for the 'snack run' that day, so she always ends up doing numerous 'dry runs' for other kids as well.
The slippery flooring slows her down, but the kids get a great kick out of her running alongside them and pulling them along.
Page is also a Therapy dog for two Aged Homes, one jail and a youth hostel.
Congratulations Page.

UPDATE ON PAGE:
Page, after one full year of Service and Therapy work, has now been retired from her working duties.
She is due to whelp at the end of next month, August.

After this litter, she may possibly be for sale, but only to a super and very loving family home.
